Manhattan Beach Hill Section

The Manhattan Beach Hill Section rises above the coastline just South of Manhattan Beach Blvd, West of Sepulveda, and East of the jogging path located between the streets of Valley and Ardmore.

In the recent years, Manhattan Beach has been bestowed the title of "The Beverly Hills of the South Bay".  This type of accolade is a distant truth to the small town soul that exists at the very heart of this beach community.  However, should one neighborhood dare approach this notion, it would most likely be the Manhattan Beach Hill Section.

The Hill Section is composed of some of the largest home lots in Manhattan Beach that are located West of Sepulveda Boulevard.  The sloped topography and large lots cater to the design and development of new homes that are often in excess of 5,000 square feet in size.  The Hill Section is divided in two sections by the hill's apex.  Many of the homes located West of the hill's peak enjoy wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, and the Santa Monica Bay.  Many of the homes located on the East side of the hill have city views that extend to Downtown Los Angeles and beyond to Mt. Wilson.

The residents are wonderful people that often have very challenging careers and somehow make those career challenges appear simple & routine.  To escape the demands imposed by career and success, these residents choose to live in the Hill Section for it's tranquility and access to the simple beach lifestyle of Manhattan Beach.  Besides, where in Beverly Hills can you hear the waves or see the sun set over water?
